The Exchange30for30 Code of Conduct creates a positive, respectful, and productive environment for all members. By participating, you agree to adhere to the following guidelines and principles:
General Principles
Respect and Courtesy
Treat all members with respect and courtesy.
Be mindful of language and tone in all communications.
Integrity and Honest Feedback
Strive to mutually learn and grow from each exchange.
Be transparent and honest in your communications.
Offer guidance and feedback to support each other.
No Sales Pitches
Focus on providing and receiving help rather than promoting your business.
Confidentiality
Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other members.
Only share information with other members which you are comfortable sharing and that is not confidential or sensitive.
Do not share another member’s personal or business information discussed during exchanges without explicit permission.
No Harassment or Discrimination
Harassment of any kind (including verbal or psychological), is strictly prohibited.
Discrimination for any reason, including race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or disability, is not allowed.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all members.
Guidelines for Participation
Preparation
Come prepared for each session.
Clearly define the problem you need help with or insight you’re looking to receive.
Engagement
Actively participate and engage in the discussion.
Listen attentively and respond thoughtfully.
Constructive Feedback
Provide constructive feedback aimed at helping other member(s).
Be open to receiving constructive feedback and considering how to use it to improve.
Professionalism
Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
Avoid inappropriate or offensive behavior and language.
Attendance and Punctuality
If unable to attend, contact the other member as early as possible to reschedule or cancel.
Avoid making changes less than 24 hours in advance if possible.
Allow up to 5 minutes into a meeting time for the person to join the call before considering it missed.
After the Exchange
Leave a Review
Provide a review of your experience with the other member after each meeting. Member reviews can be added through their profiles.
Reviews help improve the quality of exchanges and the community.
Follow-Up
If mutually desired, set up additional meetings to continue the conversation.
Confirm mutual desire to set up another call in the exchange or in the messenger before booking.
Continued Learning
Apply the knowledge and advice gained to your business.
Share your successes and learnings with the community.
Reporting Issues
If you encounter any issues or violations of this code of conduct, please report the issue to our support team at support@exchange30for30.com.
All reports will be reviewed and addressed promptly and confidentially.
Consequences of Violation
Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership, depending on the severity of the violation. Respectively, no refunds will be provided.
The goal is to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all members.
